Celestial Compass

PROJECT DETAILS

The celestial compass is a thesis research project exploring the natural ways of navigation pre-technology and tells the story of four constellations and their relation to geographic location.  The app educates viewers on ancient navigation techniques as they physically enter a celestial environment designed to mimic the sky. The gallery displays each of the four constellations: Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia, and Orion as a visual aid in correspondence with the app.
